History

Prior to becoming a Nutritionist, I worked in corporate America for over 25 years both as a commercial lender for a large regional bank and a business owner. I know firsthand the challenges of maintaining and optimizing my mental, cognitive and physical  health to stay resilient and energized for family and work responsibilities.

Eating well and managing my health through food and lifestyle choices has also always been a priority for me. And sharing this knowledge and passion with others,  empowering them to take an active role in their own health, was my initial connection to the field of nutrition.

As I began studying and researching in depth the impact a few dietary and lifestyle changes can have on the trajectory of health and mood, my passion intensified for helping others make informed, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle choices to improve their long-term health and quality of life.

Functional Nutrition

Incorporating my training from the Institute of Functional Medicine I work with clients to identify and address imbalances in body systems, root causes of their conditions, rather than just managing symptoms.

From here, together, we develop a personalized plan based on individual history, genetics, lifestyle and preferences.

Herbalism

Through my 2 year training with David Winston at the Center for Herbal Studies, I gained extensive knowledge in the traditional and scientific based healing power of herbs. Through this experience I gained clinical skills and tools to create personalized herbal formulas based on health goals as well as the individual constitution of clients.

Personalized Coaching

Through my coach training and certification I am able to hold space for others with empathy and presence, integrating mind, body and spirit in the coaching process.  My practice has enhanced my skills in active listening, intuitive insight and holistic awareness - allowing me to support others in uncovering limiting patterns and cultivating authentic, sustainable growth.

Support Your Overall Health with Personalized Nutrition

Hormonal Shifts through Peri- and Menopause

Peri-menopause and menopause bring complex hormonal shifts that impact nearly every system in the body - affecting metabolism, digestion, sleep, mood, mental clarity and more. These changes are more than symptoms to manage—they are biological signals. Messages from your body asking for deeper care, recalibration, and nourishment.

As a certified nutritionist and health & wellness coach, I specialize in supporting women through this pivotal transition with a personalized, whole-person approach. Grounded in functional medicine principles, my work blends nutrition counseling with lifestyle and emotional insight—helping you understand how your unique biochemistry, habits, and stress patterns shape your overall health and experience.

Together, we’ll decode your body’s signals and uncover the root causes behind the shifts you're experiencing. This is not about quick fixes—it’s about co-creating sustainable, evidence-based strategies - empowering you with the tools and insight to support your long-term health during and beyond menopause.

Whether you're seeking hormone balance, digestive healing, more consistent energy, or deeper emotional clarity, this journey invites you back into relationship with your body—not as something to control, but as something to trust.

Let’s make this transition not just manageable, but meaningful.

Diet vs Non-Diet Method

If you have tried fad diets in the past you know the roller coaster of losing weight only to regain it. And even during times when we are successfully following a diet, food cravings have been found to be higher in dieters than individuals not dieting.  Traditional approaches for cravings and appetite control do not recognize the biochemical imbalances at the root of compulsive and over-eating.

To control appetite and cravings, your body needs to experience a sense of fullness as a signal to stop eating. Most traditional diets disrupt these innate cues around food and appetite by imposing rules rather than emphasizing tuning into your bodies sophisticated signaling system. When you are dieting, decisions about what to eat and when to eat are based on external factors (such as counting calories, etc) rather than trust for your body’s natural communication system expressing hunger and fullness. These external rules around food and eating commonly lead to food obsession and binge eating.

A non-diet approach instead incorporates principles of intuitive eating, an evidence-based mind body approach to eating. A non-diet focuses on exploring and over-coming obstacles to body awareness, getting you back in touch with your body’s innate signals.  It removes negative emotions and language from foods and eating empowering you to make eating decisions without the guilt and the external rules of traditional dieting methods.
